We recognize that for many Vermont businesses, markets are not limited to state or even national borders.   Opportunities for product and market share growth are often found in markets outside the US. The Vermont Global Trade Partnership (VGTP) is Vermont’s center for international business assistance – extending the work and mission of the Department of Economic Development to help Vermont businesses succeed in international markets.

It is the mission of the Vermont Global Trade Partnership to provide, through collaboration, sustainable, cost effective and coordinated assistance to Vermont businesses participating in the global marketplace with emphasis on providing technical assistance, information, facilitation, training and support.

We help businesses through:

• Facilitating international trading opportunities
• Coordinating a steady program of trade missions and trade shows with industry, government, and global partners
• Developing trading prospects that are efficient and cost effective
• Providing a broad range of technical assistance in:
